Welcome to my homepage!
I currently hold the chair ‘Diversifying Philosophy’ at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam (special appointment). I have taught as a Visiting Professor at the South Asia Institute in Heidelberg (2009-2010), at the University of Vienna (2013-2014) and at Oxford College of Emory University (2018-2019).
My research focuses on world philosophies. I edit the Journal of World Philosophies, the Bloomsbury Studies in World Philosophies and the Bloomsbury Introductions to World Philosophies. I work on immigration ethics, cultural pluralism, structural injustice and other issues pertaining to public philosophy too.
